Swing Dancing
Swing Dancing became very popular in the 1920s because of the jazzy music. It started out however much earlier with the African Americans. The most popular type was the Lindy Hop. With smooth steps and a flowing style the dancers put the dance moves to many of the slow and fast tempo songs. This dance is very unique and allows the dancer to incorporate their own moves to it and make it their own dance. Some skilled dancers would add acrobatics into the dance with flips, drops, and dips.
